「Excellent lodge, clean and tidy. Milk,eggs and bacon in the fridge. Fresh baked bread and a birthday cake for my dad left on the side. Location very quiet, pheasants and a goose visit daily. Very nice owners who asked when they saw us if we needed anything. Will be visiting again.」

「The house was well equipped, modern and very clean. Smart tv and wifi was included. Very quiet location. Parking was a bit tricky in the dark. Nice garden which would be lovely in warmer weather. 」

「Wij hebben een mooie tijd gehad bij de fam Bloomsfield. Het huisje was heel ruim en netjes verzorgd. Twee grote slaapkamers en twee nette badkamers. In de keuken was alles aanwezig: oven, magnetron, vaatwasser. Wifi was prima! De auto kon geparkeerd worden voor het huisje. Kortom een echte aanrader!!」

「This pictures honestly don’t do this place justice… a stunning and spacious home with some beautiful details. Super clean, decorated beautifully with towels, everything you could need in the kitchen, lovely beds, shower gel… The host was extremely helpful after having some issues with a different site and switching over to vrbo. Great communication from start to finish with a super friendly and helpful person! A great central location on a safe road with registered parking, plenty of things...

「Sean was the best host. So helpful. He suggested dinner at a great pub in town. The house was clean and well stocked - even some food in the kitchen. The garden was charming. Absolutely no complaints at all. Will definitely return if we return to this part of England.」

「Has a lovely time at the cottage which is in a fantastic position overlooking Monmouth. The cottage is very comfortable with all the facilities you need. Overall an excellent place to spend some time chilling!」

「We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!」

「Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again」

「The host has thought of everything! It is truly a home from home (but this place has far better decor than my home!) Felt v relaxed in the living room but the bedroom with en-suite and a dressing area made it feel large and comfortable.. Large kitchen with table for 2. Far better and so much more than a hotel room. 」
