Superb, best hotel experience we've had

We booked this a couple of hours before we arrived as we are driving to France. This has to be one of the best stays we've had in any hotel. The village itself is gorgeous and very quaint. The hotel is immaculate and full of character and charm. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The spa was unexpected and we had it all to ourselves. The food in the restaurant was superb. We will definitely use this chain of hotels again and would love to return to this hotel. A truly wonderful stay.

This is one of the nicest and most beautiful hotels that we have ever stayed at. It is historic and beautifully remodeled. Everyone who works there had such positive energy. We were absolutely thrilled to have found the Hotel Baren Durrenroth and want to come back soon. Thanks again for taking care of our personal item that was left there. We appreciate you! PS. Nette, urige Unterkunft mit kleinem aber feinen Wellnessbereich. Check In / Check out war schnell und unkompliziert.Denke die Umgebung eignet sich für schöne Spaziergänge. War leider zu kurz da um das zu nutzen. Um in das Restaurant zu gehen muss der Wohnbereich nach draussen verlassen werden. Bei Regen ist daher ein Schirm ganz nützlich dazu. Unterkunft / Essen alles in top.

Uns hat es sehr gefallen im Romantikhotel. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll und unikat eingerichtet. Kleiner Kritikpunkt am rande. Villeicht könnte man eine Kaffeemaschine auf jedem Stock aufstellen. Wenn es sich einrichten lässt kommen wir wieder. Uns hat der Wellnessbereich am besten gefallen.

Sehr nobles Hotel

Ein sehr nobles Hotel, für 250 Jahre macht es schon was her. Klasse Zimmer, gute Betten, saubere Zimmer. Sehr schönes Ambiente und das Restaurant ist Spitzenklasse. Das Personal ist ebenfalls super freundlich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Von außen eher unscheinbares Hotel, da es sich dem typisch schweizerischen Baustil anpasst. Die Zimmer sind elegant, großräumig aber in rustikaler Aufmachung - ein stimmiges Bild. Der Frühstückspreis ist mehr als O.K., parken geht kostenlos vor der Tür. Der Ort ist sehr klein, Übernachten, Essen, Freizeit in der Natur ist hier angesagt.

Anhenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Hotel Bären liegt mitten in einem kleinen Dorf in schöner Umgebung und bietet einen Wellnesbereich (welchen ich leider nicht genutzt habe). Die Zimmer sind recht groß bei guter Aussattung. Das Frühstück war völlig in Ordnung und wurde immer nachgelegt. Mein Zimmer war leider im Untergeschoss zur Straßenseite, wo direkt eine Bushaltestelle war. Daher war das öffnen der Fenste leider nicht möglich. Im Sommer sicherlich ein Negativpunkt. Für die Winterzeit war es jedoch ok. Alle in allen ist der Aufenhalt zu empfehlen.
