「The gym was good. The bedroom very large but not inviting, the colours drab very dark. Very cold. No heating untill 4.30 for a few hours. Fortunately we were able to get an extra heater and managed to get air con to blow out warm air. It was obviously just renovated but not by a woman, as no plug sockets near mirror to do hair.

「We really enjoyed our brief stay.Such charming staff. My only question would be,please keep fresh milk in the room fridge, for tea in the morning. We would like to come back to stay in one of the thank4 bed lodges, overlooking the lake, next time.」

「Absolutely stunning inn and rooms in amongst beautiful countryside. The staff were marvelous; courteous, kind, warm, and with a cracking sense of humour. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Thank you to all the staff for a perfect evening.」

「There are few restaurants or pubs and the atmosphere is not so good near the hotel. What is worse, it is far from the nearest station to walk.」

「Clean room. Fine breakfast.」
