Very nice hotel!

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We used this more remote hotel as a central point between Dresden and Leipzig. So nice to stay outside of the busyness of the city. Highly recommend this hotel.

10 min walk to Old Town and all restaurants. 20 min to Castle. We did not get a room with the river view but the room was updated and very clean. Breakfast option is well worth the money. Will definitely return when back in Meissen.

This was our second time in the hotel, first time as a family with our little one. We travelled to Meißen because of the Christmas market. Hotel building is beautiful, also the restaurant with a view, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is dog friendly. Location is great, with a beautiful view. This time we did not try the spa, sauna. Our room was nothing special, breakfast was a disappointment, from a four star hotel I would expect more.

A really nice new/old hotel, with a beautiful tiled and architecturally exquisite exterior. A perfect landing spot for a beautiful town of Meissen - a gem of Saxony.

Good place to stay at Meissen

The hotel is well located on the river bank with a beautiful garden and is well maintained. It has a spa, but we didn't have time to try it. The breakfast served was good, also the variety of the food that was offered. The only negative we have seen is that the hotel restaurant closes at 10 pm and there is no bar available in the hotel. it was a bit sad as it would be really great to have an opportunity to have a cocktail after arriving from the opera that night.

Room cold Told to move car to back lot as it was in an electric one even though there are four spaces. No spot available at back so parked beside building. Next morning i see a non electric car parked in the space I was in. Told receptionist this at check out - she offered to reimburse €15 cost but did not know how to refund me. She spoke with her colleague who decided not to offer a refund as I had parked inside. I stated that there was no reason for me to move from my initial parking space and as such was being asked to pay for a parking space I had not got. He didn’t care. Avoid the hotel - hidden charges to park and use facilities - there was no mention of discount for hotels.com gold members either.

Frühstück und Abendessen waren topp!!! Fenster inkl. Fensterbänke und Rahmen (dazu sollte man die Fenster öffnen) empfanden wir als sehr schmutzig und das nicht erst seit kurzem! Der Tresor (Zimmer 126) konnte nicht funktionieren, weil die Batterien leer und schon ausgelaufen waren, was man an der Tür sieht.

Zimmer und Bad waren sauber, Türen haben allerdings sehr laut geschlossen. Wenn man Pech hat, ist eine Reisegruppe oder geschlossene Gesellschaft zur gleichen Zeit dort, dann ist es sehr voll, hektisch und die Plätze mit der besten Aussicht, mit denen man auch Gäste anlockt, sind für normale Gäste nicht verfügbar.

Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt Teetrinker aufatmen. Es gibt Teekannen und eine Auswahl an losen Tees. Sehr angenehm. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Frühstück mit super Blick auf Elbe und Dom.

Gewohnter sehr guter Dienstleistungsstandard eines Dorinthotels. Wir hatten sogar ein Zimmerupgrate bekommen ins Haupthaus, Zimmer mit Klimaanlage (WE mit tropischen 40 Grad), leider so gut wie kein Effekt, das System hat Null Abkühlung gebracht, schade.
