"The property is pet friendly as advertised. It's a little noisy at night with folks coming and going and not being mindful that they're right outside someone's door. The area is a little shady. I found that on one side of the building (where the dumpster is) there were some unsafe looking folks hanging around. There are clearly a number of unhoused people in the area, as we also saw them at all of the neighboring businesses (gas station, Starbucks, and other hotels/motels)."

"My room I was even wasn’t cleaned yet. But they quickly give me a new room which was very nice and clean. Stuff was helpful. "

"Positives: -Beautiful decor in lobby. -Clean room. -Good AC/heat temperature control in room. Negatives: -Problem with shower temperature control (only scalding hot or no water at all - seemed to be no cold water available). -Lackluster pool and gym. -Lackluster breakfast, really not worth it. "

"I lived in the south for 25 years and I’ve been up in Ohio and Michigan for the six years. I stated this hotel and it’s been pretty consistent with good people amenities. But I want to say the choice hotels and Comfort Inn need to open the pool earlier than Memorial Day. The reason is as of April 1 it starts getting hot in North Carolina. I lived there for 25 years and it’s always questionable between the months of March and April. I understand not opening the pool up north any earlier with your hotels. But in North Carolina and South Carolina I would ask that you would consider opening a pool April 1. Even if you don’t think it’s that warm even at 70° kids want to swim. It’s a hell of a lot warmer than the ocean in Wilmington, which I came back from to stay at this hotel. I understand that’s the official summertime. But please consider opening the polls or earlier in the south."
