「Parking is tight and limited like all mountain parking. We enjoyed the pool and the provided pool towels were a nice amenity. We just missed the outdoor fire pit every night of our stay but it looked really fun so we'll try to do that on our next trip. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.」

「The hotel is modern and very clean. Within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the amenities were good. There was a small but nice balcony to sit on in the evening. The only negative was the clicking and banging and humming coming from the small refrigerator by the bed. It was not constant but did wake us up in the night. I would stay here again.」

「I am 6’4”. I used to travel 120 nights a year all over. This was the smallest room(including cruise cabins) I have ever been in. I would have complained but I was in one and of my favorite towns and just went with it. The tv was on the left wall to a forward facing bed and it was so uncomfortable trying to watch I turned it off and played on my phone. I checked and my bathroom and wife’s closet are bigger than the room. Buyer beware and all but that room was ridiculous and uncomfortable. And...

「Property was closer to the road and other buildings than expected although it is nice enough inside. The bathroom was large and lovely in the suite. However, the amenities and staff were sub par, especially given thepl premium price tag. The wi Fi didn’t work, the staff interrupted to check it but never actually fixed it, the plumbing stopped up and when you try to access staff, you just find a note on the lobby door that says be back soon. The phone in the room didn’t work and was reported but...

「The room was very clean but very plain. Not even a picture on the wall. A big lamp in front of mirror. No way to turn on a reading light as it's just all lights on or off. Bathroom is clean but no place to put your stuff. Even little bar of soap slides into the sink. Cheap, thin towels. Grounds were well taken care of. Beds were comfortable. Close to town. This was a mixed bag, but cleanliness is most important to me.」

「This is a very well-maintained older property that is convenient to central Blowing Rock. You could park here and enjoy the town without driving. Although close in, it was quiet. The manager was very attentive and helpful in making suggestions for dining. The room was fairly small, but neat and clean. It's not fancy by Blowing Rock standards, but it had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable - I slept better than at home. The property was also nicely landscaped, with lovely outside...
