Right in the heart of Blowing Rock. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room was exceptionally clean and the balcony had swivel rockers on it. Excellent.

Lovely property right in the center of town so easy access to the restaurants and shops. The town was seasonal decorated & Blowing Rock Memorial Park was full of blooming flowers! We did drive to the local attractions like the Moses Cone Manor which was wonderful! Lots of trails for walking; did the very interesting ranger led tour of the Manor house. The Embers Inn itself was very clean & attractive, room was nice size with comfortable bed & usual amenities. The staff was very helpful and again the location was amazing! The Embers Restaurant for dinner was expensive but staff was very attentive. Only complaint, the Continental Breakfast is served only Mon - Fri and the Sat-Sun brunch is not included and pricey! This was not specified on the Expedia site which said it included breakfast & it did not say only weekdays!!

We stayed at the Embers for just one night, but it was a difficult night because of a personal problem that came up just before our check-in. The staff was absolutely the best and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. It's a lovely hotel, with fantastic people on staff. We'll stop back again sometime soon. Thanks for everything!

Goodness! We have been traveling to a different hotel the entire week on vacation. This was, by far, the nicest hotel room we've stayed in, and in such a beautiful little town!! We can't wait to return! The balcony was a bonus to end the day on.....the restaurant and sweet little "treats" when we arrived were perfect. The staff was incredibly accommodating and wonderful. Thank you for such a wonderful respite visit we experienced!

As my wife and I were sitting in the amazing swivel rocking chairs in the spacious room porch, we were commenting on how clean, inside and outside, this hotel is. The bathroom was spotless, as was the room and the porch. The bed linens looked brand new and were very comfortable, and even the white fabric covered chair was spotless. This is our 4th or 5th stay at the Embers Hotel, and every time has been absolutely great. I highly recommend the Embers for anyone planning a trip to the Blowing Rock area.

The place was very modern and nice. They let us check in 2 hours early which was much appreciated. We liked having the robes. Not sure what the extra $22 charge was for. There was easy parking and it is located right in the heart of downtown. Given the high price, the breakfast seemed a little meager. The trash can was overflowing at breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at The Embers in Blowing Rock. We went for our anniversary and stayed four nights. We had a delightful corner room with fantastic outdoor space. The staff could not have been nicer and the location is fantastic. This really should get six stars.
