「We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. 「Beautiful original log home. Deck built out on Cheat River for gorgeous views and wildlife. Wonderful fire pit area. Definite location! The home is well equipped with many hospitalities. Awesome hot tub all of property direct views of the river. Fishing was fabulous too!」

「The Fox Den met all our needs. It was clean, comfortable and had great indoor and outdoor living spaces. It was located in Thomas, within walking distance of the downtown area. Davis was just two miles South, with another fun shopping/dining area, and the local Shop & Save. Our plans involved hiking the state high peaks of MD and WV, and The Fox Den was very convenient.
