「This is a camp ground with a building that offers hotel style rooms. It is located close to a river but otherwise it is 20 miles from anything else. There is a gas station, grocery store and a restaurant on site, but be aware that all of them operated on limited hours. Otherwise it was a nice stay. Rooms are recently renovated and were reasonably nice. The building however seems to still be in the process of renovation. 」

「The accommodation is located in a motel away from the main lodge and lake. The room was comfortable and internet worked good. Bedding for pull out couch was inside the couch and not adequate for the cool evening - there were no extra blankets or pillows and staff had gone for the evening. Staff was very friendly, yet it was confusing as to where a person would check in or deliver paperwork from your stay. The kitchen is the main lodge on the lake and the food was great. I would stay here again.」

「Wonderful location! Wouldve been nice to know there wasnt any elecriticy before I arrived or i wouldve brought a generator. But other then that, LOVED this place, quiet, calm, right by the river! Will be back next year but want to book the A-frame cabin instead, just to have that extra privacy, shade and most importantly being that much closer to the river/creek for my pretty girl Poppy, who just loves to swim! She even made a friend in Viks dog Molly while we were there! They went swimming...

「The staff was excellent. They were there to meet us very late in the evening when we checked in. Wish it wasn’t quite so isolated from neighbouring towns and hiking trails, but it made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Safari dome was clean and well-kept. Lovely time!」

「Could have been a bit cleaner. There was some hair on the bed linens. We used our sleeping bags so it was okay. Was chilly at night as we could not get the stove to work for us (that was us not knowing how to use and getting back late to get help). The hosts were accommodating with requests. Bathrooms could be cleaner as well. Didn't seem to be able to get got water to wash our hands with, did not try showers. The firepit is located in an awkward place behind the dome which did not make it user...

「We needed a couple’s get away, & we chose the Nordegg area knowing it would be quiet, & close to trails, waterfalls, etc that were new to us. The Stargazer cabin had everything we needed to relax after a day out. The cabin is tastefully done & we loved the deck & fire table (my partner was disappointed no wood fire pit, but wuickly got over it).
