「We needed a place for one night ,and t was good , Bear river is a small gem in NS」

「Room was a little disappointing. No A/C and no TV. They do have some rooms with A/C, but those are not "Standard rooms" and would cost $50 more than the room we booked. No TV's is consistent across all of the rooms. I dont think they do a good job of advertising this before you go. On the other hand, the food and the staff at the on site restaurant was superb. 「This is the perfect BB. Rooms are clean, mix of modern and antique. Lots of character. Close to pier and some local shops. Good breakfast. I would recommend this stay to anyone. Note the rooms have fans and no AC. Building is also 3 stories with only stairs.」

「The entire campground was very sad looking. The dome as soon as you walked in, you were greeted with an overwhelming smell of must. Upon further looking it appears like there was mold along the sides of the dome. The shower had a bunch of hair within it. The TV couldn’t play anything without having to buffer every 2mins. For what the experience was it was grossly overpriced.」

「Stayed here for one night when we went Whale watching. It was a self check in property but the hosts responded very quickly when I asked questions. The actual apartment was a bit dark but it was in the basement so to be expected. There were all the amenities needed which was great as we cooked dinner there that night. It was far from any town so you have to make sure you either bring food or eat before you get there but is very convenient to the East ferry if you are going Whale watching...
