「Check in was a little delayed, but after that, all was good. Property was clean and as described」

「From their mountain, I had a clear view of sunrise. In my small house (one of four), at the foot of my bed, I had a picture window into the woods and the setting sun and moon. I was so happy! The smell of fireplaces was in the air. The home was picture-perfect in everything I needed to be comfortable and up-to-date. I could live in this house! The friendly, helpful hosts greeted me upon arrival. I should have taken advantage of the wellness amenities--meals, yoga, sound bath. I hope to return...

「Group of 12 guys enjoying a bachelor party. Plenty of space to do whatever things we wanted to do. Everyone had their own beds. Would absolutely stay here again 」

I would definitely come back to see what future improvements are made to the property as I was told by the front desk staff that they're making a constant effort to upgrade the facilities.」

「South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) We would absolutely stay here again. 」

「We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.」
