「The best place to stay on Skiathos! Room was wonderful, with comfortable beds, a well stocked kitchenette, and lovely balcony with a view of the sea. It was a 30 second walk to a beach with gorgeous turquoise water in addition to a 25 minute walk into town. I can’t say enough great things about the staff who not only were super helpful with the check in and transfer from the port to the hotel, but drove me back to the port for my early ferry when leaving. Our room was beautifully furnished and exceeded expectations. All members of staff and the owner were great at arranging transport, making us feel welcome and making sure we had everything that we needed. 「The room we were put in on arrival was very basic and small, the 2 drinking glasses were dirty and dust on the cups, no cutlery, plates available in the room so asked for a bigger room but I had to pay €125 extra.」

「Beautiful view from our balcony and communal area round the front of the property. Very clean with great facilities and air con, the wifi was not the best so be prepared. Very steep walk up to the property which is doable if you are quite active, would recommend to have a car or motorcycle otherwise. Close to a bus stop, nice supermarket and town centre. 」

「We had a lovely stay at Anthena apartments. Spotlessly clean- well equipped. Close to main area with plenty shops and bars and restaurant’s close by. Rannia and Stavros excellent hosts- such a lovely couple. Would definitely stay again! 」

「This villa is in a beautiful stunning rural location but by car its less than 10 minutes from Skiathos town and this makes it a perfect retreat but still near amenities. The inside of this villa is a bit dated but it is finished in a rustic style. The hosts are lovely people who were very helpful and knowledgeable during our stay.」

「A wonderful 10 night stay at Margi House. Bed was very comfortable. Air con was blissful. Cleaned really well daily with fresh towels. Swimming pool was exceptional. Loads of sunbeds & cleaned daily. Andreas at Margi House was exceptional. Ordering taxis and giving us lots of local knowledge The free nespresso coffee was bonus. A few bars/restaurants within easy walking that were great. 」

Even so, we were disappointed that we had to wait almost an hour to enter the room, despite emailing our arrival time, as the owner had decided to go to the beach. Otherwise, the owner was helpful. The rooms are in a beautiful terraced area and clean.」

「This property was amazing! I would love to be in this villa 24/7. The views from every room were spectacular. It is a little doll house. My daughter and granddaughter were with me and we each had our own bedroom. That in itself was such a treat. The rooms are decorated perfectly for a quaint setting. It has probably the best view over the sea and we saw some incredible sunrises over Skopelos.Katerina is such a warm and kind person that we constantly felt well an comfortable. Overall a perfect vacation on a great island with a beautiful accommodation. 」
