Mountain retreat

This is a wonderful hotel. Located in the mountains a few hundred meters from a waterfall and surrounded by the forest. The view is spectacular and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We wished that we could have stayed longer.

Un séjour hors du temps

Montanema Handmade Village est un lieu exceptionnel et très original. Tout était à la hauteur de nos attentes, le cadre de la chambre (vue magnifique sur la vallée et feu de cheminée au pied du lit) et du restaurant, la nourriture de très grande qualité, les personnes qui nous ont accueillis, la nature environnante. Les conseils et la gentillesse des hôtes resteront dans nos mémoires. Nous n'avons qu'un seul souhait : pouvoir un jour revenir !

It is indeed built like a village. 1000 meters up, above the winter clouds is a warm reception, exceptional decor, amazing view, delicious local food, friendly ambience, a blazing fire in winter, a swimming pool in summer. Isolated in a walkers paradise or a few kilometers by car from the idyllic Lake Plastiras, with isolation to allow relaxation or activities in the forest or with farm animals for families. This is an ideal venue year round, for everyone. Lest anyone think this is hyperbole, one complaint. They do need to improve the internet!

Amazing

We stayed three families between (15/9/18 - 16/9/18) Unfortunately, we had planned in advance to stay only for one night at this hotel. The hotel is simply a magical paradise up the mountain deep in nature ..... The rooms and lobby are amazing and very spacious. The hotel staff and hotel owner are very welcoming and helpful in everything. A very special breakfast. Next time, we will be happy to return to a longer stay Best regards, (Nadav in the name of the three families)

Meget flot hotel i smukke omgivelser

Vi var på vandretur med den lokale guide, hvor vi fodrede hotels dyr og samlede svampe i bjergene Svampene blev tilberedt til os til frokost, meget lækkert. Dejlige stor hytter der er virkeligt gjort noget ud af indretningen. Eneste minus er vejen der til som er grusvej de sidste kilometer og skiltningen kunne være bedre.

Un cadre exceptionnel pour la détente et de merveilleux moments en famille. Отдыхали в этом отеле в середине июня 2018 года. Отель расположен в горах с прекрасной природой. Сам отель красивый с отличными чистыми и уютными номерами. В нашем номере был камин, мы его вечером разжигали и наслаждались прекрасным видом и уютом. Персонал отеля вежливый и внимательный. Из отеля можно совершать различные пешие маршруты с водопадами и горными реками, карту прогулок дают на ресепшн. Нельзя не отметить, какая там вкусная и домашняя еда, приготовленная из домашних продуктов. Мы отдыхали с детьми 8 и 14 лет они были в восторге. Такое ощущение, что ты находишься наедине с природой. Красивейшая природа и горный воздух оставили незабываемые впечатления. Обязательно вернёмся снова.

Staff were excellent, very nice and attentive to our needs. We felt like we are home away from home. A true gem nestled in the middle of the forest. There is rough dirt and steep road towards the hotel, it can be difficult to drive because it's high up the mountain, but once we get there its all worth the drive. The rooms were kept well and the view is truly amazing.

뜻하지 않게 정말 좋은 곳에 머물게 되었다. 내부 인테리어에서 건물 외벽, 그리고 길가에 놓은 장식에 까지 장식물마다 정성스럽게 지은 것이 느껴졌다. 특히, 산 중턱에 위치하여 카페나 레스토랑에서 보이는 바깥 풍경이 하늘과 구름들이 시시각각 변화하는 모습이 인상적이었었다. 하지만, 그것보다 더 인상적인 것은 스텝들의 친절함이었다. 모두들 밝게 웃으며 친절하게 대하는 모습이 너무 좋았다. 정말 3일을 편안하게 쉬다 돌아올 수 있었다. 누구에게도 추천하고 싶은 그런 곳이다.

Wonderful vacation among nature (with Wi-fi:)

Wonderful quiet picturesque place in the mountains, surrounded by forest. Being very nature friendly (all food from their garden and local producers) and organic, still has everything signs of progress - Wi-Fi routers everywhere, well-equiped kitchenette and boiler for hot water in each house. Great for couples, having a rest after long working hours, relaxing with the book near the pool. The food is just great!

Fantastisk oplevelse

Vi overnattede to nætter på dette fantastiske hotel. vores værelsehavde smuk udsigt over Anthochora gorge. På grund af et større selskab på hotellet oplevede vi desværre at servicen i hotellets restaurant ikke helt kunne følge med - men vi fik at vide at det var meget usædvanligt med så mange gæster på en gang.

Greece - a different view!

As I drove with my Greek wife and son along the road (I say road, by now it had morphed into more of a dirt-track) I did not know what to expect. But by now, not just the surface of the road had changed. Our altitude was increasing by the minute as the nature around us began to change dramatically, resembling more and more the sort of landscape I had normally associated with the northern European Alps. This was central Greece and it was miles away from the stereotypical beaches, blue seas and bottles of ouzo represented in postcards and the like. This is Greek ecology tourism - an altogether different view of and on Greece. And boy, what a view! A fantastic dining hall (all cast iron fireplaces and rustic wooden beams) takes in, via its massive windows, a vast stretch of almost Alpine-like mountain ranges and valleys, with Mount Olympus (for once) taking a back seat, hazily, in the far distance. The fabulous cabins are mini-country dwellings, replete with open fireplaces, stylishly rustic kitchen areas and bathrooms. Everything seemed to be delivered with what the Greeks call (I am reliably informed by my wife), 'meraki' - love and care. And for that read: attention to detail and clearly well-thought out 'nice touches'. Montanema Hand-made village keeps a close eye on the seasonal changes (influencing the different activities and food). We were there in early Spring and though we were nearly the only ones there, we were treated as if, like the view, we were special.

Καταπληκτικό ξενοδοχείο σε φοβερή τοποθεσία ( μέσα στα ελατά). Το διαμέρισμα ήταν άψογα φτιαγμένο με εμφαση στην λεπτομέρεια!!!! Το εστιατόριο καταπληκτικό !!!!!! Το προσωπικό άψογο και πολύ ευγενικό!!!!!!!!! Η τοποθεσία είναι τελεία για χαλάρωση και ηρεμία!!!! Ο δρομος είναι χωματόδρομος άλλα σε καλή κατάσταση ( εάν αναλογιστείς ότι είναι 3,5 χλμ αγροτικός δρομος) Σιγουρα θα το επισκεφθούμε σύντομα για ολιγοήμερες διακοπές!!!!
