「Apologies to the knights rest, but we didn't actually stay there. I booked it on the day for 2 nights through hotels.com. However ten minutes before arriving at our destination the hotel rang me to say that they were closed and on holiday themselves. 「Quiet spot overlooking hills, super clean upside down living with everything you need and open plan lay out. Heating and hot water very responsive. Had 2 dogs with us who enjoyed the 2 large paddocks secured by hedge and fences. The charming host was keen to help with anything and we chatted to him over the paddock gate.」
