「Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. 」

「The virtual assistance at the front desk was extremely rude - stating she was super busy and will get to help us when she can. Our plug stopped working so microwave and toaster didn’t work. We had no internet thought the storm was over. No priorities and cleaners never came. Basically, it’s a fend do yourself type of place - good luck is anything happens someone will come help you. 」

「I have never taken the time to leave a review, but our stay at Tara cabin was so special that I couldn't wait to tell all of you about it! Absolutely everything was perfect! As soon as you drive up you realize how special the place is. The cabin is absolutely adorable with cozy furnishings, a stocked kitchen and a gorgeous bathroom. 「This house was so well equipped! There was not a single amenity overlooked! Plush towels, plenty of blankets and pillows, coffee supplies, spices and seasonings, paper products, games, books, you name it! The decor was so much fun. It slept 4 comfortably and could have accomodated 2 more on the couches. Great location not far from UNR.」
