「This house worked well for our family visit. The snow was fantastic and there is a relatively flat area behind the house that is great for snow play. Typical of the houses in Tahoe-Donner in the winter, one wants to be very careful pulling out of the driveway due to cars driving reasonably fast and no visibility due to the snow banks. 「The pictures are very deceiving. The house needs major updates. It was dirty and there were cobwebs and spiders. No sheets and no curtains in the bathrooms for privacy at all. 「The river was beautiful, but our enjoyment of the setting was overshadowed by a major, ongoing plumbing issue. As long as we were using a single bathroom everything worked fine, but as soon as the rest of our family arrived and more than one bathroom came into use there were problems which ultimately resulted in water backing through a toilet and bathtub and flooding of a bathroom.
