"This hotel was amazing. It was very modern and very clean. They even upgraded me to a deluxe room, which had more space and windows. It was very roomy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I couldn’t believe I could find such a nice room at such a great price right in the Royal Mile. You have to be careful which ibis you go to since there are two just a block away, but they obvious are used to people’s confusion as they instantly asked to see my reservation, anticipating I first went to the wrong room (which I did). I still don’t understand why no hotels have Kleenex available, but it’s all of them."

It would have been lovely to have tea/kettle option in the room, but other than that, the hotel was great. The bar was spacious and the communal spaces were lovely. It was well located and within easy reach of shops and stations. "
