「Dead roach in the room.. pool was closed in the middle of summer and that’s what kids look forward to」

「My husband and I (28years old) wanted to go to port aransas and stay a night without being too far from Port A. BUT didn’t want to pay extreme prices so we stayed here. We enjoyed the place. Check in was simple, room and bathroom were clean. There was a weird smell in the hallway and room but it wasn’t intolerable. The bedsheets felt clean and we enjoyed watching movies through what looked like direct TV channels. We woke up too late for bfast but enjoyed a place 17min away called Fresco Eats....

「I liked although I didn’t get to partake in the happy hour at the bar. The staff was very helpful with giving information about the breakfast buffet. They explained that the property had suffered recent hail damage to the outside window panes and there were crews onsite repairing damaged windows. It was safe, clean and convenient to roads and restaurants.」

「When we arrived we asked a lot of questions about the location, the surrounding things to do and how does the ferry work etc…! He way very helpful and informative. Great personality and very quick at his job!! 10 PLUS!!!」

「We booked 3 rooms, none of them were cleaned well, the stoves didn’t work which is why we booked there, the ac in one was leaking and the carpet was wet all over, when we told the staff they just said other people had told them the same thing and they didn’t really seem to care. Roaches were very present and we could see a couple at any point in time.」

「Room was clean, AC cool, bed was comfortable. Need security latches on the inside of the doors...the housekeeper come in one morning while I was still asleep...lol.」

「To begin, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional hospitality and welcoming atmosphere provided by the staff. The property was immaculately clean and exuded a pleasant aroma. I was particularly delighted by the complimentary coffee and tea service, as well as the daily availability of breakfast and happy hour. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment and anticipate returning to it during my future visits to Portland, Texas.」

「We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with kitchen and living room. It was very clean and and well stocked with utensils and other basic necessities in the kitchen. The lady managing the breakfast area was very efficient and personable. Overall the hotel amenities are great . A few negatives - the breakfast was quite bad. The housekeeping for the room was only once in three days as per hotel policy. I asked them to clean the room after two days and they did not do it .」
