「メールだけのやり取りで（出入り口、部屋のドアのナンバーを前々日にメールで送ってくる。質問などのやり取りはすべてメール。）初めてであり、不安があったが、実際のところ利用に問題はなかった。しかし、だからといってそれほど安いわけでもないので、どうなんだろう？というのが正直なところです。」

「I arrived early and was grateful for the quick check-in to my room. Also, it was very helpful that they held my luggage upon departure, demonstrating great hospitality. However, I was a bit bothered by people passing by outside since my room was on the first floor. While closing the curtains could solve this, it made the room quite cold as the heating wouldn't work effectively. 「Room was adequate, clean, no frills. But the common area in a remodeled barn is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal, a drink, or play a card game, read or spend time relaxing and chatting. Large windows frame an unbeatable view of the mountain valley with a picturesque river running through. A great get away!」

「The bathrooms were clean, room was comfortable, good kitchen. A couple of things I wasn't too happy about: breakfast was 1,300 ISK and was very poor selection for the amount of money. The shower room is located only in the basement and I had to pass through the first floor which is a cafe/bar. Overall I really enjoyed staying here though.」

「Easy access to harbor and shopping street. The facility is very clean, neat and tidy. There was even complimentary coffee in the kitchen. We would definitely choose this place again if we have a chance to visit Akureyri again.」
