「Great location but hotel tired and in need of upgrade. Staff friendly and work hard but under staffed at breakfast. Booking in at to wait as no one at reception (4 in afternoon) breakfast on second day was a fiasco and people got up and walked out. I am afraid I won’t be returning as it stands」

「The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog」

「We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits. Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there.」

「Loved our stay in the family loft. Staff were very friendly. Space was clean and they accommodated our request for an extra bed and pillows. Food is excellent- the breakfasts were delicious and we all Enjoyed the pub quiz. Easy short walk to all the local activities. Would absolutely recommend.」

「Rooms were clean, staff helpful and, in short, excellent. In house WiFi was weak and intermittent. The rooms looked a little tired but not scruffy. Plenty of parking (except on entertainment night. This wasn't to my taste but was very popular with the larger audience) but there is ample street parking and the road is not busy. Here is an ancient lift which worked faultlessly!」

「Another great staycation at The King's Arms. Easy booking, great accommodation, friendly staff & the most amazing food. Really good value for Money & convenient to shops on North walsham High Street. Would very highly recommend. Parking is possible behind the Hotel but we decided to park in a local carpark a few hundred yards away. Very reasonably priced & easy to get a ticket using the App.」

「The whole hotel needs a facelift. Lift difficult to operate and had a strange smell. Shower needs 2 types of shower head, not just a waterfall with no shower hat provided. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Disappointed, expected slightly more from a four star hotel.」

「Great location. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choices. Site is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy scenery. The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. There was an orange film on shower tray which we scrubbed off. There was a goo under soap the whole time. Glasses which were used and dirt in first day remained in room dirty the whole time.
