「The place was nice and clean, but a lot more remote than we realized. If you are looking for a place to really get away and unwind, it is a good pick. Bring all your food in so you don’t have to drive back out. If you are looking for a place as a home base for Carmel and the vicinity, it is a long winding drive. 」

「The house is adorable and extremely comfortable. Both my husband and I were obsessed with the bed and the amazing wrap around porch. Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. Everything about the River house makes you slow down and enjoy this beautiful part of California. 」
