  • One of the trail heads around Ft. Ord National Monument. The trails are a combination of paved roads, dirt roads and sandy paths. Manzanitas on all sides. Live oaks and lace lichen make this a wonderland of gnarly branches. The light rain the morning we hiked gave the manzanitas a shine and a depth that was surreal!

The space was great for our family to visit! Just know that both bathrooms that are in the house are on suites so it made it a little difficult to host people who needed to go into each other’s rooms to use the restroom. The TV also had issues for us but it was a great entertainment space and plenty of room for everyone.

Everything was good. They need to check the hot water in the upstairs bathroom shower. We weren't able to turn the shower valve to get hot water only cool water. The tub faucets worked fine and had hot water.

The house was in a central location and was very cute. Overall, I would recommend staying here. The main bedroom was very nice with an attached bath. Some of the dishes were dirty, but I also would not expect the hosts to rewash every dish after every guest. The main reason I put good versus excellent is that the rooms were a little confusing. The one with two twin beds (one of them a trundle) was very, very small. The one with three twin beds (one of them supposedly a trundle) seemed like it actually had one full and one twin rather than two twins and one trundle. We didn’t end up needing that many beds but I do believe the description should be updated.

Nice clean property. Floor plan requires you to enter the upstairs bathroom through the main bedroom. Down stairs bathroom requires you to walk through to two bedrooms to enter.

A cozy house with a great view

Our stay was lovely, and we had all we needed for a home cooked meal and good sleep. The views from the house are amazing, and there's plenty of room. There were a few things (e.g. fireplace, balcony) that were off limits in the house, but the stay was still lovely and well-provisioned. Thanks much to the hosts for all the thoughtful touches!

Clean, convenient, eclectic home in a good location

Interesting Home in the seaside community. Pros: clean, coffee station with many options, reasonable kitchen layout and stock, comfy beds and linens. Loved that they provide garage parking and remote. Cons: both bathrooms are behind are in bedrooms (no common access bathroom for the other bedrooms).

Presidents Day Trip

This property was fantastic. It was nice and clean, with gorgeous views of Seaside and Monterey. My friends and I had an awesome experience, and the hosts were very responsive. 10/10 would stay again!

Decent space, but details were off and there were some wiring problems

The location and set pieces of this stay were good, but there were two fewer beds than were posted on the listing. One of my party had to sleep on a couch to make it work. Be sure you're planning for two queens and three twins for your trip. Also when we plugged in the heating unit downstairs late at night, the outlet upstairs began to spark. Other outlets in the house were unreliable to the point that we ended up not using any of the portable bedroom heaters. Definitely would check in to to see if these problems have been addressed before staying.
