While the house retains much of its 19th century charm, it has the modern conveniences needed for a relaxing stay. It may have been the off season, but food and meal choices were limited in Nauvoo itself. We were grateful for the items we ordered from The Apron Bake Shoppe.」

「I stayed in Nauvoo for 5 nights. Two nights at the Hobbit house and three nights at another place. We only stayed two nights at the Hobbit house because it was so much more expensive. If I had to plan again I would spend the extra and stayed all week. It was all on one level, way cleaner, and had a huge comfortable tub. The charm of the place was sensational. We watched Lord of the Rings in the coziest environment EVER! We brought our daughter who loves the Hobbit movie and she squeezed with...
