"We had an outstanding stay at Le Domaine de la Maison Neuve and would absolutely return. The property was exactly as described. It was clean, beautifully maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We could tell that our hosts, Brooke and Laurent, genuinely care about creating a welcoming experience for their guests, and the many small touches throughout the property made our stay feel effortless.The location was excellent and one of the highlights of our trip to Normandy. Being so close to Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery, and many of the historic D-Day sites and museums made exploring the area both easy and deeply meaningful. After a long day of visiting the beaches, memorials, and surrounding towns, it was nice to return to such a peaceful and quiet setting. The property itself felt far more upscale than many vacation rentals we've stayed in, and the comfortable atmosphere made it easy to relax and recharge.Communication with our hosts was seamless throughout. They were responsive, professional, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a great experience. Check-in and check-out were straightforward.If you are considering booking this property for a Normandy or D-Day history trip, do not hesitate. Highly recommended."

"Appartement correspondant parfaitement à la description, idéalement située pour visiter les plages du débarquement. Qui plus est, la propriétaire, Madame Pain est d'une gentillesse incroyable et ses conseils tant au niveau restauration qu'au niveau visite étaient optimaux, nous n'avons pas été déçu du tout. Une adresse à conseiller et à garder dans le coin de l'oeil pour une éventuelle visite plus tard."

"Le gîte et le parc autours sont magnifiques !Nous nous y sommes rendus 3 nuits avec nos 3 ados... Ils ont particulièrement apprécié la piscine privative et tous les accessoires laissés à disposition, les ballades en barque sur l'étang, les canards plutôt dociles, le trampoline , les balançoires... ils ont moins apprécié l'absence totale de wifi...Si vous aimez les grands espaces au calme l'endroit s'y prête tout à fait !L'hôtesse est très accueillante, des flyers sont disponibles pour organiser les visites incontournables à faire en Normandie.Attention cependant il y a un forfait d'électricité à ne pas dépasser... Nous avons dû rajouter 20 supplémentaires pour les 3 nuits passées et racheter une chaise longue car l'une d'elle a l'extérieur à céder lorsque mon fils s'est assis dessus !Je pense qu'elles avaient passé quelques hivers à l'extérieur heureusement il ne s'est pas blessé.Malgré tout cela nous gardons un bon souvenir de notre séjour."

"Rooms in desperate need of updating. Furniture poor, no comfortable seating. Poor decorative state, inside and out. Rooms seriously let the whole site down. Check in at 5pm, on site shop closed sf 5.30!! Be very aware of your own cleaning check list"

"We absolutely loved this cute stand-alone house. It was outside of town and a little difficult to find the first day (the directions given made it a lot easier). The house had 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 toilet room up stairs with cute sink. Downstairs next to the kitchen was the other toilet room and the 1/2 bath (stand-up shower). The washer was located off the kitchen in a back room (but no dryer - as is common in France).There was a garage, but we didn't use it for our stay given that the driveway had plenty of space for parking. The pool table, ping-pong table, and games were a treat for the kids to use and play.The host was very gracious and after giving us an overview of the house told us about things to do in the area (D-Day beaches, museums, other things) that we could do it we wanted.After we booked the house, we were emailed and given a contract that we had to electronically sign and return. It explained usage and also the small fee associate with providing linens and towels - which we paid in Euros upon arrival.The cows in the pasture would greet us when we arrived, and say goodbye when we left. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Staff was fantastic. Breakfast could not have been better; eggs and bacon to order, fresh coffe, local cheeses, fresh bakery, juice, preserves, toast, everything I could want. Room was spacious, with comfortable bed, large bathroom with towel warmer, plenty of hot water. Room had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again."

"The room was amazing! The host has a ton of knowledge on the local food and shops, and even makes an amazing breakfast, too! The house is centrally located in a perfect spot for anyone wanting to see D-Day history. I hope to be back in Normandy again, and when I do, this is where I’ll stay! "
