「The hotel was in a good location. Unfortunately the room smelled very musty and was very damp. Asked for a different room and the front desk clerk said “I will give you an air freshener” we stayed 2 nights. I dreaded going back to our room the end of the day. Shower was good and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and was nice that hotel had laundry facilities.」

「Staff was wonderful, had issues with the cabin. The bed had a big dip in it ( permanently) mattress needs to be replaced. Had an ant problem with the room, big infestation. Ran out of hot water late in the evening and the toilet cover needs to be tightened, very loose. A little outdated」

「The listed Expedia price was advertised as all taxes and fees included, however, the taxes were added on top of the listed price by Country Roads Cabins when they ran our card. We booked 3 other places on this trip and didn't have that problem with the others, nor have I ever with my past bookings. That said, the cabin was very nice and we had a great time there.」

「Nice place to stay off the interstate in West Virginia. Great river views. Good communication with the host.」

「It was a fun way to stay. Location was minutes from trailheads and town. I would recommend this place to a small family (there is a loft to sleep in) or a hiking group.」

「I'd definitely stay here again. Price was perfect and awesome for what my needs were. Host was very helpful with great communication.」

「This place was great! Clean and great functionality! Made a great place for us to stay while visiting the park and hiking near by!」

「This cabin was excellent. It just down the street from Hawks Nest State Park and not far from many of the popular New River Gorge hikes. It was impeccably clean on check in. Check in was easy, communication was clear and quick. Super cute, super reasonably priced, and overall an amazing spot to stay.」
