We liked the dogs there who were well behaved and friendly. This is a unique location right on the river with lounge chairs and centuries old oaks. "

"This is a hotel for constructions workers. When my teenage daughter and I checked in early Sunday everything seemed okay. But late evening and Monday the hotel was filled with construction laborers. Every afternoon it was filled with guys in the parking lot drinking, playing music and smoking. I wish the hotel management gave my daughter and I heads up this might not be the hotel for you. "Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat."

"It was a great stay to take some time off the city and as a firefighter nurse relationship, this was a much nedeed stress relief weekend. We walked around the property and was always accompanied by the cat👍Would recommend to relax and have some fun around the parks!!"
