「They market the hotel as being far superior to what it actually is. To begin with, the buffet food—for breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was very poor; it was just pork and chicken, and there were small flies hovering over the food. 「Unfortunately the location showed the apartment was located at Playa Bonita but it is actually located in Chumical which is 20km away. We were advised by friends who reside in Playa Bonita, whom we wanted to stay close to, that taxis/Uber’s dont go to Chumical and the area is for “adventurous” travelers so we forfeited our non-refundable booking. The host offered a different date but this didn’t resolve the above concerns. 」
