「For a passing through on a road trip, this hotel was great. There was a lot of big rigs and electric trucks in the parking lot but the hotel was quiet. It was very clean. I used the pool and hot tub and it was a great break after a long drive across country. Room was clean and comfortable. Some things maybe needed update and just painted over but everything worked and was comfortable. Breakfast was nice with sausage egg rounds. Their coffee which was available 24 hours was great! 「My three night stay in the Garden Room at Shoal Creek Bed & Breakfast was lovely. Terri, my host made sure I was comfortable and her breakfasts were delicious. The house was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and several places where one could sit and read, or do hand sewing, as I did. The quilt shops of Missouri Star Quilt Co. are nearby, and other things to see and do within easy driving distance. I do not hesitate to rate my stay as a five star experience. 」
