「Outstanding stay all around! Chris was waiting for us to show us around the house when we arrived. Everything was exactly as it is shown in the listing. The view is even better than it appears in pictures. The property has everything you need and is secluded and relaxing. The hot tub was awesome. We will definitely return.」

「We had a wonderful stay at The Secret Shack. AThe cabin was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. The beautiful mountain views made it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay, making everything seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain getaway.」

「Amazing stay in secluded outdoor paradise」

「The location was excellent and there was plenty of room for our family. Having a kitchen with appliances helped us save money by allowing us the option to cook meals. Close to the attractions and stores we wanted to visit. We had no problem getting in and out of the driveway. Home appears to be in a closed in neighborhood so there was almost no traffic.」

「Amazing place ..cozy and well kept」

「Very clean and comfortable property with easy check in/out process. Conveniently located to everywhere in the Hickory area. My only suggestion to the host would be to add thicker blinds or black out curtains to the bedrooms. The home is in a quiet residential area with neighbors very near. There were no noise issues, but outdoor lighting and headlights illuminated the bedrooms very brightly to the point of disturbing sleep. Other than this one suggestion, the home couldn't have been better in...

「Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. 」
