「Room was comfortable, clear, pleasant. Staff were helpful and friendly. Bar/restaurant was ok. Cook was out but they still provided food service. Very nice staff. Good people, good service, far price. Parts of facility need updating but not necessary today in my opinion. Good overall for the price. Happy with the stay.」

「Cute decor!」

「Currently disputing a charge for parking. The Hampton Inn Alpena website states “free self parking” as does the Expedia website. Otherwise I would be completely happy with my stay.」

「Very clean. Convenient location.」

「The elevator was filthy, the coffee machines didn’t work, the screen on the machine said it needed to be cleaned. It’s a great location and I’ve stayed there many times. It just seemed to be run down this time.」

「This is a nice inn. The rooms are on the second floor and you must access by steps. The first floor is a restaurant, shop and office. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pastries, left right at your door. They were excellent. The key to our room was left for us. We never saw any staff - but there really was no need. I would stay here again if I return to this area.」

「Checking in was a little difficult since I arrived late and it was already dark. There wasn’t a clear indication of where I needed to go, but the host referred me to Jeff, who was fantastic. He was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area — he alone deserves a star! The stay itself was okay. The area was beautiful, and the community was very friendly. The place has a lot of potential, but I think it could really benefit from a deep clean and some minor renovations. When I first...

「Cute little two bedroom house with full kitchen and a working bbq grill in the backyard. Comfortable couch and recliners in the living room so we could binge old shows on the Roku TV. Disappointed the washing machine is currently out of order, but the dryer works so we were able to just wash our clothes at a laundromat and bring them back to dry. Not much water pressure in the shower, probably on a well or something. This was a nice place to kick back for a short break on our road trip, and...

「Needs many updates.」

「Host is not pet friendly and charges an additional fee in cash when you arrive and 2 days after departure and someone else is in property I’m charged for broken furniture that wasn’t broken and or dirty when we departed if there was any issues it should have ben informed to us that day waterfront is more like a overgrown ditch don’t recommend properly or host」

「4 ladies spent a great week at cabin 2. This cabin is near the water, which was beautiful, crystal clear and clean. The bottom was sand and not mucky. They had a floating dock we were able to use which we did spending the whole day on it. The cabin was clean and comfortable. John the host was outstanding and helpful. I highly recommend this place.」

「It was a nice, quiet place.」

「The cabin was beautiful. Staff was excellent.」

「We had an excellent stay on Hubbard lake, we came up for a fishing trip and this place was wonderful. Being only a few minutes from the boat launch it was the perfect place for us. Would definitely go again!」

「The property is everything and more. We enjoyed some quiet moments siting in the swivel chairs and couch overlooking the lake. I loved the welcoming big interior living area where we could all be together.. The big porch pretty much has shade all day as does the sit swing down by the water.」

「Beautiful view, quant cottage」
