The Space:

Welcome to Bluefin! This breezy modern seaside retreat on the Florida coast invites you and your favorite people for the ultimate holiday in the sun. Here, you’ll have the comforts of a private home, plus the perks of a resort-style community that includes an expansive lagoon pool, hot tub, and tiki bar. You may never end up leaving the wet bar in your own private game room, though, as you’ll have plenty of space to lounge around the billiards table and bar on the second floor. Even indoors, you’ll feel close to the sunshine, thanks to floor-to-ceiling doors/windows and multiple balconies that offer easy outdoor access to lounging and grilling. Fully equipped and close to all of your favorite coastal activities, dive into your vacation at this luxury Destin beach house! In addition to the large TVs in the living room and game room, each bedroom has its own television. All televisions come ready for you to log into all of your favorite streaming services.



Located in Northwest Florida, Destin is often called the “world’s luckiest fishing village”. This Emerald Coast city is known for its sparkling white beaches, numerous golf courses, and world-famous fishing. Nearby zipline courses, dolphin cruises, and amusement parks make it a perfect destination for families. Adults and large groups also flock here for beach parties during the day and live music in the evening. Once the sun sets, the Destin Harbor turns up with lively bars, restaurants, and dancing.

Home Details:

• Dogs must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $99 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without approval, we'll have to pay our cleaners for an unscheduled deep clean and we will have to charge you a fine of $500 to cover that. No cats allowed.

• Feel free to enjoy the pool, hot tub, & tiki bar area during your stay! Use provided wristbands located in the bowl on the kitchen counter for entry. The pool is heated on all fo the major holidays during the cold months.

• Please be aware that this home has an outdoor Ring camera set up.

• The host does not live in Florida and does not have the ability to come over if issues come up. He is available via phone during reasonable hours and will be happy to answer questions and help out in any way he can. He has a handyman, but please be reasonable since he costs a lot when he comes out.



Parking Details:

Parking is free. 3 cars can fit in the driveway. Off-site parking for jet-skis, boats, etc is available.

Guest Access:

We will provide you with the gate code and the front door code two days before you arrive. Guests will be provided with nearly everything they need: linens, towels, kitchen soap, detergent, laundry machine, hair dryer, iron, etc. Please note that you MUST coordinate with us if you want to arrive before 4 PM since other guests might be checking out on that same morning that you arrive. When this site says that your check-in time is "flexible", they mean that we can work with you if you request an early check-in; it doesn't mean that you can check in whenever you want and we don't guarantee early check-ins. So please plan on getting our approval for an early check-in time.



Other Things to Note:

WE HAVE NO HIDDEN FEES. Our only fees are clearly listed in several places on this listing: There is a a one-time cleaning fee which is clearly listed by this site. Dogs are welcome, NO CATS ALLOWED, any other type of animal needs to be approved ahead of time.



Rates fluctuate automatically according to a computer-driven algorithm based on supply & demand. But don't worry, your rates will be locked in at the time you pay for your reservation, so if they go up or down, we will not charge you the difference or give you a refund. So no worries - we'll honor your original rates :-)



Verbo guests: As you saw in several places in this listing, our credit card processor takes 3% before paying us, and we do not get that back if you cancel. We will pay back 100% of what we receive if you cancel within the cancellation terms and we owe you a refund, but we will not pay back MORE than what we received (iit wouldn't make any sense to pay you extra out of our pocket when you cancel). Therefore, consider it a 3% cancellation fee.



Interaction with Guests:

We're not one of those big management companies that will nickel & dime you or steal your deposit for no reason - we just own one home in Destin and we rent it out to make some money on the side. There is good and bad to renting directly from the owners: We'll give you a much more personal touch and we know the property better than some call center in India like the big companies use. However, we aren't going to be available to come by if a light bulb is out. If it's a real emergency or something very important, we have a handyman that can come by, but please be reasonable in your expectations since he costs us a lot of money each time we send him out.



We coordinate with all guests ahead of time to make sure their check-in is easy and stress-free. We will send out the check-in instructions 2 days before your arrival. Check-in times must be coordinated prior to arrival to guarantee an exact check-in time.
