This Destin property exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is immaculate, beautifully updated, and thoughtfully designed with high-end finishes and exceptionally comfortable furnishings. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing, and the additional amenities—especially the golf cart and game room—added a true resort-style experience.The location is outstanding: central, convenient, and ideal for families, yet still private and upscale. It is close to the beach and still close to shopping in the area. The hosts provided excellent communication and were attentive throughout our stay, making the entire experience seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a high-quality, luxury stay in Destin

Lovely House

Everyone really enjoyed the house it was setup perfect for our family. Very clean and looks like new. House had a lot of amenities, including beach towels, chairs and toys. Pool and hot tub combo were great, as well as the game room. Very close to the beach and the golf cart is an added bonus. We all had a great time!

Awesome place to stay while in Destin!!! The house is spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the convenience of being close to the beach and having a private pool at the home. Access to a golf cart was a plus. Robert and Kourtney are great host and very informative about the property and area. We hope to visit again next summer.

This house is exactly as indicated in the description of the home. It was extremely clean, and well stocked. The gated pool was one of the reasons for renting this home as it added security for the children. When I had a question/concern I received a quick response! Perfect week at Sandy Starfish

We loved our stay at Sandy Starfish. The house had everything we needed and is very well stocked with extras, dishwasher detergent, Garbage bags, shampoo, etc., which was nice not to have to go buy anything extra. It is close to the beach whether walking or taking the golf cart. The pool and hot tub were perfect temps for our October trip. Hosts were wonderful and replied promptly to any inquiries we had. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Destin Perfection

We stayed at this lovely home with our grown children and grandchild for 5 nights. Everything was spotless. All the rooms were spacious. We cooked all of our meals in the home and found the kitchen to be fun to work in. The 3 full-size refrigerators plus the little one on the back porch were great considering the amount of food and drinks we kept cold. The pool was clean and clear, and we spent a lot of time in it. The beach is an easy walk down the street. We rented the additional golf cart, and it made transporting beach equipment even easier. There were plenty of beach/pool towels, and we were able to launder them at the house (detergent and dryer sheets were provided). We enjoyed homemade piña coladas on the back porch in the evening and walking the neighborhood with a cup of coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Cleanest house we’ve booked ever. Robert and Kourtney are very helpful & reach out often. 3 espérate families stay VERY comfortable. The upstairs add on is a plus as the salt water pool and hot tub. Both kitchens are well stocked with any cooking and utensils needed. Plenty of toilet paper, towels and garbage bags for our group. Both front and back have screened porches which allows sitting comfortably outside. Nice pool chairs and plenty new beach chairs, wagon, toys etc for beach. Instructions are labeled throughout the house on how to operate lights, sound system and hot tub. Plenty of tv’s too. Golf cart was very nice too. Wish we had booked the entire week!

Destin Get Away

We enjoyed our stay with our two dogs at this beautiful home. It is very close to the beach and the neighborhood is a great place to walk the dogs. We even met one of the full time residents who was very nice and friendly. The home is a plus if you want to have two families with separate areas because it has a guest house above the garage. The home is very relaxing and decorated beautifully. The master bed was a little uncomfortable and the back bedroom was warm. Kourtney responded quickly and said they would put a window unit in until the AC company could get there and also mentioned getting a new mattress. They were Johnny on the spot! The pool was very nice and the hot tub heated up very quickly. There is a game area in the garage but it did not have any AC but kids would certainly love it. We would most certainly book the home again.

PERFECT First Family Vacation to Destin

This property was seriously so perfect for our family. It was my significant other and I, our 3 children (ages 4, 6 & 8), and my parents. There was plenty of room and now I’m trying to talk my husband into building a pool/hot tub combo based off of theirs! We all enjoyed ourselves and every single person had the best sleep EVERY night! From the moment we booked to the moment we left, it was an extremely smooth process. The house is walking distance to the beach and isn’t far from department stores for if you need anything quick! The golf cart was a nice touch too! My father surprised me by flying (for his first time ever at age 61) to Florida and we enjoyed the ocean for the first time ever as a family and it was seriously such a special time for me. Their guide is also fabulous! It answers any and all questions you might have! 5/5 Perfect. Great job, Rob & Kourtney! You’re really doing a great job!

A beautiful and very socially functional home...

Beautiful property! It was extremely comfortable for all of us. The bedrooms were setup so that all had plenty of privacy and bathrooms. The carriage house on the upper level was so cozy and comfortable. The screened in porch off the front and in the back were a definite bonus! The pool which was salt water (love that) and the spa were nice and relaxing and very clear and inviting. The game room was a hit. We set up competition teams playing the dart board and ping pong that were provided and we also brought our own corn hole which there is plenty of room for. We used the provided golf cart all the time. Loved that it had its own parking spot so no need to move cars around. The beach was beautiful and so close by. We decided to go down to the Tarpan St entrance which I'm glad we did. It has its own shower and lots of room to spread out and sit right on the waters edge without anyone asking you to move back. The owners Robert and Kourtney were very friendly and made sure we all had everything we needed. They even had a box of Crumble cookies delivered as a welcome. What a sweet gesture. Perfect rental, don't even think twice, just do it!

Fabulous stay at the Sandy Starfish

My group of 8 had a wonderful time at the Sandy Starfish. Prior to our arrival, the owners sent me a very thorough & helpful guide for the house & the surrounding area. The house had ample room for sleeping, a large dining table & plenty of seating in the living room. The kitchen was the best stocked of any place I have ever rented. The screened porches were nice for having coffee & a bonus bar & small fridge on the back porch. The pool house is basically its own upstairs apartment with another well stocked full kitchen & fridge, bed/bath combo & small living room plus a wood deck overlooking the pool. The pool was clean & relatively warm this time of year making it just refreshing enough. There are some lounge chairs, a small table set & a larger table under the deck which was great for our card games. The beach is a quick easy walk away & the house has beach chairs. Shopping of all kind is a quick drive. The game room was tons of fun & a great addition to an already excellent home. The house does have the type of wear & tear you would expect from a beach rental, but very clean. There can be a bit of noise at night depending on who your neighbors are, but typical of a fun & busy beach town. Overall, this place was perfect for us & I would give it more stars if I could!

A beautiful home, our 2nd year staying here and certainly not the last. So much space for everyone to enjoy and the pool/hot tub is simply amazing. The hosts are so attentive and willing to assist with anything you need and are very friendly. We needed nothing but they still checked on us. The house location you cannot beat. The street is very homey and the beach is just steps away. A wonderful way to spend a vacation in Destin.

Perfect home for a family getaway!

I can't say enough about how amazing this property is. Plenty of room, so clean, generous accommodations and close to everything! The pool, hot tub, golf cart and game room were a hit! The hosts are so responsive and kind! We bought groceries for our stay and rather than throwing unused items away, they take them to a local shelter. We highly recommend and will definitely return!!

The place was great! Just perfect for all our boys! From kids ranging from 9 years to 18 years old, each one had a blast! The ping pong table and darts (game room) was a huge bonus with all including me and my husband. The carriage house even provided the big kids a place to escape and feel like they weren’t under mom and dad all while being in the back yard. The golf cart was a huge plus as well!! Even though you really wouldn’t need it for a day at the beach because the house is literally a block from the ery easy access to the beach. We went in the beginning of June and the beach was not crowded at all! Weather was even great the whole time! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience overall!

Our summer family vacation is the highlight of our year which we would enjoy no matter where we were. However, having a fantastic house to stay in is always a cherry on top and this house was just that!! The layout was absolutely perfect for us. Hubby and I had the beautiful master suite, our daughter and SIL had the beautiful bedroom at the other end of the house with their own bathroom and our granddaughters were in the bunk bedroom right next to them with their own bathroom. Our sons stayed in the carriage house and loved having their own "bachelor pad" space!! The place was absolutely immaculate and had everything we could possibly need to make our stay as nice as possible. We didn't have any major issues at all but any questions we sent to the owners were promptly answered. The pool and spa and game room were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The golf cart was a very cool bonus too. It's a very easy walk to the beach but the golf cart made it so much easier to take all our gear down. I could go on and on but suffice it to say the house was perfect for us and we would highly recommend it to anyone!!
