「The cottage was spotless and faultless so much provided for and more. A lively welcome with homemade bara brith cake, milk, tea, coffee and sugar, fresh eggs. I could go on lusting the amazing amount of things provided. Eileen is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble even offering to do our washing. She is a very special person. 」

「It was a pity that the property that was described as at Welshpool. it was not and there was no bus service. The cost of a taxi was prohibitive. The Hotel in Welshpool refused my debit card by processing it incorrectly. I spent the night in a shed of an abandoned house. Enjoyed the breakfast at the Greggs in Welshpool the next morning.」

「What an amazing place to stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, in fact one of the ladies on reception had visited our part of Canada. We were treated incredibly well from start to finish, and the amazing breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. A first class experience!!! 」

We also found that some of the information provided on the property listing at the time of booking to be somewhat questionable, suggesting a cabin size of 215 sq ft and containing a bathroom, which we now understand relates to facilities in a separate building on the property. 「No one in shop or office to report issues to, I txt the owner on Friday morning & they didn’t even open it until after we left on Saturday morning. No bathroom lights working, no outside light by hot tub and no covering over it to protect from weather/trees, so it was not used. 「We liked our room, the view it gave us over the countryside was brilliant. We struggled with the coffee maker, and gave up on it- some instructions would have helped. We also struggled with the shower controls and again some instructions would have helped. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was very good but we were a bit disappointed by the selection for dinner.」
