「We had a lovely stay - delicious food, very comfortably well-appointed room plus free parking - perfect!」

「Every aspect was perfect」

「Friendly staff who warmly welcomed us on our arrival. Room was clean, well equipped with all that you expect and though we didn't use the shower the bath was welcome at the end of a hot day! The food was gorgeous, sizes were good and all freshly made. There's ample parking at the back. Would we go back? Yes we most certainly would.」

「This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

「I don’t often write reviews, and when I do, it’s usually to complain! I was also a little sceptical when I saw Belle Vue’s exceptionally high rating, but after staying there, I completely understand it. The guest house really was exceptional. The décor was stylish, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the location and grounds were lovely. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and flexible, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and felt it offered...

「Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. 」

「Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...
