Clean, private and all the outdoor activity you might want. Beautiful, cozy condo 1 block away from charming downtown Golden, CO, Colorado School of Mines, hiking, history park, breweries, restaurants, coffee roaster and more. It's a quick drive to the mountains for world class skiing and hiking. All furnishings are new and has all the amenities you might need.
Ideal for 2 guests. Smoke free/pet free.

Golden Short Term Rental License # is STR-25-0022.

The space
The condo is located in downtown Golden, in an historic building once built as a hotel for the Colorado School of Mines in 1909. It was completely gutted and beautifully remodeled in 2005 with hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and stainless appliances. The space is very quiet and cozy.

Guests have access to full, private 1 bedroom condo

Other things to note
Condo is within walking distance of multiple events in Golden. If beer is your drink of choice, Golden City Brewery (the second largest brewery is Golden) is located less then a block away but make sure you get there before they close at 7pm. The condo is located in the foothills so it's a quick drive into the mountains on I-70, easy drive to downtown Denver or Boulder. It is a perfect oasis to access all the area's activities. No smoking on premises or pets allowed.

Climate control- The location of the condo lends itself to being cool in the summer. I also recommend guests tip the blinds and close the windows during a hot day and then after the day cools, open the windows and blinds. The ceiling fans along with the window AC unit are also a huge help to keep the condo comfortable.

This condo is everything it says it is! It was clean, comfortable, well laid out, and stocked with the essentials as well as some extras in the medicine cabinet. Betsy created a great space. She was committed to making my stay perfect and frequently checked in. Golden is a walkable city, and the condo is close to Cafe 13 where you will find the best croissants and coffee. Truly, ditch the car and walk to dinosaur tracks, the river, shops, restaurants, and your daily croissant.I plan to visit Golden again and will stay here.

Great location in Golden!

Betsy's one bedroom suite is perfect for a couple who wants to explore Golden. She provides everything you might need for your stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and around town. Betsy was an excellent host and gave excellent suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Golden and can't wait it come back!

Excellent Location

We were in town for a show at Red Rocks (a short 15 minute drive away). You can walk to absolutely everything in Golden from this property. Betsy was a great host- she checked in to see that we were enjoying our stay and gave us some great recommendations for food/things to do in town. Condo was clean and cozy. The parking spot was a great perk since parking in Golden is either pay by hour or permit only. The lot is on the smaller side so if renting a car keep that in mind (we had a Jeep Trailhawk and it fit perfect). We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. Miss it already!

Perfect property

Well kept unit, very comfortable and perfect location! Betsy was easy to communicate with and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We were able take advantage of everything downtown Golden has to offer with ease, while having a short drive to see shows at Red Rocks and enjoy some hiking. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again if in the area!

Great Location

Came to town for a Red Rocks show. This place was perfect for my husband and I. Walking distance to downtown Golden, in a quiet neighborhood. Recommend a smaller vehicle to utilize parking as it’s tight.

Place was comfortable and great location to everything in golden downtown. Parking was nice, but a pain to get out of. The apartment was clean and had everything as a couple we would need. Truly walkable to everything we wanted to do. Great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars just blocks away. The apartment was clean and bright! High level finishes. Well appointed kitchen. We will stay here again!

Gold in Goldenadvertised and we

The location of this rental is its biggest asset. A 3 min walk to the city hub, with lots of shops and restaurants. But also a 3 min drive to a major grocery store and CSM is just as close. The condo itself is just as advertised; we enjoyed it. We also enjoyed meeting several renters in the same complex.

Great Spot in Golden!

Wonderful location! Couldn't ask for a better spot to explore the town. I would certainly stay here again. Walkable to everything but also with a parking spot for the further adventures. Be sure to bring a sleep mask since the east-facing bedroom window has a very ineffective blind. That's easily remedied, though.
