「Quintessential lake vacation. Pools were very nice. Billy- from the beach cabana answered all our questions and had great stories. Beach and docks are accessible and fun. Too windy to use one of the various boats available. Breakfast in the restaurant was tasty with friendly servers. Room in the lodge was basic but nice. Great for families or a get away.」

「have stayed in motel in past, average but not issues. Won't be back: key card replaced 3 times for room, still needed staff master to get into room. TV remote not working - replaced w 2 others..to get volume. Battery checks, on remote and door access would be good. Bkfst - no coffee, no time to wait. other guests were vendors like me for Oktoberfest- Ruttgers. Many expressed dissatisfaction. Good location, reasonable in the past. No more for future. will drive further to find new motel. 」

「Pros: Beautiful place! The photos don’t do it justice. There’s plenty of space for everyone, great family rooms, beautiful bathrooms, and lots of useful appliances. The host kept things simple, which we really appreciated.Cons:Unfortunately, we found bed bugs during our stay—two on the lower level and one upstairs— so it may be throughout the house. We ended up sleeping in our cars the second night, which really ruined the trip. We seriously considered leaving right away, but it was too...
