Lakeside Sand Beach House on 3 Acres of fun Near Nisswa and Cross Lake.

Come be in the heart of the Brainerd Nisswa area. Everything is nearby but you won't be able to tell with the 3 acres of woods and Private Sand Beach Protected on both sides. The sunsets are Amazing with the property facing to the west. The property is all flat all the way to the beach and we are lakefront with nothing blocking the view. There is a beach house right next to the lake with full access to the paddle board, Kayak, beach toys. Lake Edward is a 2600 acre lake which is very clean, sand bottom throughout. We just finished a Game room where you will find a Pool table, Foosball, Arcade Games,Card Table. The fishing is very good with a variety of types of fish. We have added a separate game room which is ideal for keeping the noise down and having space when the weather is not cooperating. There is a resort on the lake where you can get gas and snacks, etc. There is a pontoon available for rent that you see in the pictures. In the winter there is a snowmobile trail right out front of the house. We have a 8 person jacuzzi hot tub available except in summer months. Enjoy your stay at our paradise!!

It was a wonderful place for having our entire family of 16 people. Plenty of space to spread out and have alone time as well as group time. Kitchen was great - this VRBO was the most well stocked we have ever had - plenty of dishes and appliances to make our stay great. Kids were in the water alot and used a number of the water toys. It was the best possible place for our annual family time.

Great location and very comfortable

Great place to stay. Comfy beds, great fire pit and lake access. Updated I terikr with detached game room. Very fun. Biting flies near the water, bring a thermocell and it’s no problem. Hot tub was not filled therefore it was unusable otherwise would have given 5 stars.

A Wonderful Week

Our family enjoyed staying at this property. The cabin was everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the cabin made it easy to have time together playing games and enjoying the week. The sand bottom on the lake made for a great place for the kids to swim and enjoy the outdoors.

Family memories

My wife and I along with our three children, their spouses and four grandchildren had plenty of space and comfort. The amenities were terrific. We loved the lake which was clean, not busy and provided great fishing. Also, rented the pontoon boat which was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was excellent except the hot tub wasn't working, igniter on gas grill didnt work (had to light it with long lighter) and the outdoor game equipment was locked up. The Mark was very responsive

Disappointed arrival

The property is nice, with a large yard. The cabin is nice, just as the pictures show. It's well stocked with everything you need. There's plenty of things for children to do(game room, board games, and shed full of oudoor toys). We had a few issues, the worst being our forgotten arrival. The listing could state that the 6th bedroom is in a total different building.

AMAZING BEACH HOUSE

Me and my friends stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The house was beautiful and had so many nice accommodations! They also had paddle boards and even let us rent their pontoon to use too! The beach is super shallow so we could hang out in the water all day! Would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to enjoy the Minnesota Lakes!

Beautiful property!

We loved our stay at this beautifully renovated home. It has everything you need from coffee pods and teas, cookware, top-of-the-line appliances, linens, etc. There are 3 bathrooms with showers, super-comfortable beds, beach towels-pretty much anything you would need. There is even a pontoon boat on the property, which was super convenient!! We had a small issue with the pontoon and the owner, Mark, drove 2 1/2 hrs so he could remedy the situation! Mark and his wife are wonderful to work with. The house is also conveniently located near Nisswa, which is a great little town. If you like to bike, the trail is easily accessed. We love this area!!

Disappointing

Not what it looked like in the listing, plus additional faults. Sugar sand beach: not true. There was some sand, but 10 feet of mud and muck to get to water, which also was not suitable for anything at all. Don't get the idea this is a lakefront property, it's not. 100 yards at least to dock, then it's still a mess. Golf cart? Good luck, not covered by insurance, may not allow. Malfunctioning refrigerator-freezer is inexcusable. Plenty of bugs, primarily spiders. There is no surrounding community, or alternative entertainment. Cannot recommend a stay here.

Summer vaca

The house met our family's needs with lots of space for all of us to hang out and was fully stocked. The deck and furniture was also big enough for all of us to hang out together. Lots of wood for bon fires. Sauna worked great. Lake was clear with a sandy bottom. Caught enough fish for a fish fry. Enjoyed the game room and the bunk room once the beds had been made up. The one draw back was that it did not have air conditioning got warm in there. The lake was quite a walk from the house but was able to drive down to the beach when needed.

Family vacation

This was our 2nd year staying here. We have already booked for next year. Everyone had such a good time. Love the bunk room- all the grandchildren love being able to sleep in same room.They are very quick to answer any questions you may have while staying.Highly recommend.

Wonderful getaway on the lake!

We had an excellent stay! The house is spacious with very comfortable beds and awesome outdoor space. The sauna and hot tub were an extra treat! Would definitely stay again.

Blended family get together

We loved staying here! We had a couple of glitches. Furnace in the game room stopped working after the first night. There’s a gas fireplace that worked. And the sauna didn’t work. Mark tried to get them running to no avail. The furnace and sauna was new so probably had to work out the kinks.Still we would stay there again! The setup is so nice.Mark is really nice and accommodating!

Annual anniversary trip.

The property was very spacious, with lots of very comfortable beds. Perfect for a group or larger family getaway. Huge yard, great dock and lake access although it was cool while we were there so we didn’t partake in any lake activities. The owners have absolutely maximized the home and we could tell they have put in a lot of effort. Maybe not quite as clean as we would have liked, but it was a late season trip for us so I’m sure the house has been busy all summer. And definitely not a mess in the least. Overall a fantastic location and a comfortable home.
