"We unfortunately stayed for just one night on Thursday, 23 October 2025, on our way back to Joburg, but it was a truly perfect experience, just as we had hoped. The view was absolutely stunning, and the location is beautiful, safe, and enveloped by a lovely forest. We were overjoyed to receive an upgraded room for our special occasion, celebrating my partner’s 64th birthday, which made our stay even more memorable.
A heartfelt thanks to Christina and Caroline at the Front Desk, their kindness and warm welcome genuinely elevated our experience. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed to making our stay so special and unforgettable!"

"We loved our stay. The staff were exceptional. Huge thanks to the beautiful two ladies in the kitchen, we loved our breakfast. Gardens and the horses were beautiful. Watch out for the hippo in the dam! Everyone was super friendly. "

"The only reason I'm giving this place 4* is because the road leading down is gravel and not bery well maintained. The cabin itself is a paradise! The pond is beautiful, the ducks friendly, and the fast moving creek sounds lull you to sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The staff was friendly and the whole property is well maintained. "
