I never expected it to be more than good, but at £16.95 it was tepid, one piece of chicken wasn’t cooked properly and overall mediocre at best. Too tired to make a fuss but it was worth putting in the review. Other than that a great hotel and I’d definitely stay again. "

"The hostess, Saghira, went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable during my stay. She was the perfect hostess and responded straight away when I contacted her for assistance. The property itself is located near bus stops that take you straight to the heart of the city centre. It's an easy 10-15 minute bus ride. The property is clean and homely. The bathroom is routinely cleaned. I have enjoyed my stay at the Edinburgh Travel Guest House and if I ever return, I will make sure to book my stay with them again!"

"The staff were absolutely amazing! I couldn’t say one negative thing about them. Very helpful giving directions etc unfortunately we had issues with the cleanliness of our room and had to change. One room had what appeared to be blood on the wall. Very disappointed as this hotel is supposed to be a 4 star."
