I love a good heritage property, even one without a lift. This might be a dealbreaker for acutely afflicted people, but there is a dumbwaiter for moving luggage to upper floors if one is borderline challenged. If I had a choice, I might avoid this location on a Saturday night unless you have SUPER earplugs. Right off a really festive area with pub leavers til 3:30am. Everything else was absolutely lovely.

Had a great stay, hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable, everyone is very friendly and helpful, Location was perfect, next to the botanitcal gardens, short walk to the train station, the opera house and all the shops. Highly recommend

Great property, rooms are great and the staff are excellent especially Rosa. The only 2 issues I have is that the TVs are very cheap and do not work properly sometimes, and the scent through the property can be over powering.
