A great place to see some of the wild life close up - a daily visit from a troop of monkeys, twice daily visits from the kingfisher.... Lovely. Huge breakfasts! Tuc tuc required to get anywhere. Quiet remote but taxi or tuk tuk is easy to arrange via the reception. Rooms vary, some have better lake views than others, but very clean and well arranged and a good size. 「I had a perfect stay at Royal Beach Hikkaduwa. Room was spacious. Room was very clean including nice and fresh linen. They always asked me if I need any help and was really helpful. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had lunch and dinner at there Lumina Restaurant and Bar. Food and cocktails were amazing. Hotel is just in front of the beach and honestly it looks like a paradise. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who travels to Hikkaduwa. I will definitely come back next year...
