「Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.」

「We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

「The room was a reasonable size with a king size bed and a small en suite. However, we found a large stain (possibly blood) on the corner of the mattress topper. We also found one of the windows couldn't be open due to it having parcel tape stuck over window and frame. This looked messy and botched. It was a cold room and when we went to turn the radiators on they were filthy with dust and debris in the grills!! We complained to the receptionists who immediately arranged to move us to another...
