「Wonderful accommodations in a most beautiful part of our world. The building is very old and this is not perfect. For us it was perfect. An excellent breakfast each morning and dinner and pints in the evening. Plenty to see nearby. We look forward to visiting again.」

On the negative side, everything looked a bit shabby, doors were dirty, the window in the bedroom didn’t close properly and when a heavy burst of rain occurred water was flowing into the bedroom. 「The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. 「We had a lovely overnight night stay at the Wallace. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and tidy with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes. The pub was inviting with roaring log burner which gave extra coziness. The evening meal was delicious😋 The best local sourced fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. 「Disappointing. Last time we visited we had a power cut, this time we couldn’t use the bath due to plumbing issues. To cap it all breakfast was chaos. The hotel was busy due to an event, there was no filer coffee but staff left us waiting without information. No sausage, bacon, egg except one or 2 portions coming out piecemeal. No natural yogurt or fruit salad, toaster out of order. We are pretty patient but this was unnecessary if planning had been put in place. Yes the room rates are low and...
