「The hotel is a very old one since 1808. The location is excellent right by the Main Street. The inside pool is very nice. The rooms are clean but you can feel they’re old. Lots of free parking space」

After we booked, the listing was changed (at various points it showed “sleeps 2” or “sleeps 4”) and the price dropped. Despite the confusion, we kept our reservation.When we arrived, there were not enough towels or bedding for 5 people. One person on the trundle had no bedding at all. 「Generally personable staff; room service was excellent. Stayed here at various times over the years, the place has been slowly upgrading. This trip I had my dog, so was assigned a pet-friendly room on the lower floor, not facing the water. Everything was adequate, but I know that some of the upper floor rooms facing the water are nicer. No coffee maker in the room; one has to go to the lobby for coffee. A small thing, to be sure.」
