「Host was very great at communication. There is a club or bar next door that you can hear from the back bedroom, so if you’re a light sleeper that might be an issue. Overall for a place to sleep. However overall I would stay here again」

「The property exceeded my expectations. It is a new property with a terrific outdoor deck and a huge field attached to it that borders the river. The kitchen was spacious, the bedrooms were good sized and it was a terrific location. I had to reach out to the owner for a detail I missed and he responded immediately. I’d recommend this place if you are planning on staying in Clearfield.」

「This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. The kitchen was missing simple things like paper towels which we purchased and left for the next person. Also, no hand towels,...

「The host did not send check-in instructions until 640pm after VRBO staff and myself tried to contact her, as check in is at 5pm. After arriving at the property, we looked inside the window and it had not been cleaned at 6:15pm (beds unmade). We scrambled to find another place quickly due to it being late in the day.The host only did a partial refund and VRBO would not help. I had three “chats”, and two phone calls with customer service with no resolution. I had to call my bank for escalation of...

「Excellent! The room was great! Service was excellent, staff friendly. The Dinosaur Museum was great! Loved eating in the cafe. We unfortunately had not enough time for hitting a bucket of golf balls or the miniature golf course (the miniature golf course also has an assortment of dinosaurs and was just outside our door). We traveled to see several covered bridge in the general area (each within approx. 40 to 50 miles of the hotel) and passed a few Amish farms as well. We saw and read...

「The place was clean and comfortable. Was expecting it to be more of a country setting, not right in town with other properties very close. We noticed an odor coming from the laundry room/bath area. It could have been stale water in the washing machine hoses? The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the satellite TV since it rained most of the day on Saturday.」
