Whether you are escaping to see our majestic elk or planning a fun-filled family vacation in the PA great outdoors, Walnut Acres has everything you need and more. Situated on 4+ acres of land, our home comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. With four bedrooms (queen beds - linens included) and two full baths (towels provided), we give you all the comforts of home. Additionally, our open-flow concept home boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, family room with a large sectional, big screen TV, Free WIFI access, and an inviting dining area.

Start your morning with coffee on the large covered porch or escape with your favorite book to our cozy second-level screened-in porch. After a full day of activities, grab your marshmallows and head to our outdoor patio and large fire pit for some family fun.

Walnut Acres allows easy access to The Elk Country Visitor Center, elk viewing areas and all of the glory of the PA Great Outdoors. Walnut Acres is within a few minute drive of gas stations, pharmacy, convenience store, dollar store, bars and restaurants.

My family needed a place to stay for a night to go on an Elk Wagon Ride in Benezette. Dans place was perfectly located, clean, and very lovely. I would highly recommend to anyone needing accommodations in the area!

Amazing place

We truly enjoyed staying at here! Dan was awesome, he responded within minutes and helped us with anything we needed. The house itself was perfect for our family, very spacious and the outdoor space was perfect!

Most AMAZING place ever!! We have been here before and we will always come back. The place is well stocked, clean, private, has everything and close to the Elk visitor center. The fire pit and outside place is great for all ages and the beds are so comfortable. The host, Dan, is always on top of everything. communication with him is the best. Everyone should stay here!!!

Great weekend get away!

This was a great house to stay for the group I had. In a very nice and quiet area that wasn’t far from everywhere we wanted to go! Dan was an amazing host always answering our questions within minutes! Already talking about planning a trip for next year!

We made our first visit to Elk Count on Thanksgiving and were fortunate to see elk up close deapite the cold weather. Our stay at the property was just what we wanted — spacious, clean, convenient, well-furnished, affordavle, and easy. We will return.

Wonderful house with open floor plan, great family room and dining area. Four great bedrooms upstairs. We had a wonderful time and plan to return in summer months. (Very Clean)

Overnight Elk Ladies Day

8 of ua ladies stayed had a great time. 4 queen beds, futon, large couch could sleep 2. Room for air mattress if someone didnt want to sleep with snoring friends. Clean and quiet. Great Host communication

Perfection

The house was as advertised. Very clean. Lots of room for our family. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The furniture was all comfortable as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything that you could possibly need. Firewood was there to make a fire. Lots of outdoor toys for the kids to play with. This place is amazing g amazing and perfect for a family trip. The only not negative I have is that the air fresheners throughout the house were very strong and overpowering. But, overall I give this place 5 stars.

Pleasant Stay!

We (7 adults and 2 children) really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this lovely property. We found the house clean and spacious; the beds and pillows comfy. The privacy screen in the large bedroom was a pleasant surprise and a good idea! We had excellent weather for early October so we really enjoyed the outside space and spent most of our time on the covered patio (a great hang-out spot!) and around the fire pit. The kids enjoyed the large yard and we had an impromptu game of kickball. If only the elk had been more cooperative. Only saw a couple across the field at the Visitor’s Center. We did hear coyotes one night, though. Overall, great property and location. We’d love to stay here again!
