「Lovely cottage and great location. Well stocked and appreciated the wine and Maltesers on arrival. The only negative I would give is the bathroom. It could do with upgrading and I was worried the toilet would stop working but it didn't. 」

「Pleasantly surprised upon entering house. The home was very clean and linens/beds ready for use. The location is excellent for activities slightly north of Edinburgh. The walking trail across the street even offers some historical plaques about the area! Quiet neighborhood.」

「Äußerst ansprechendes, historisches Gebäude, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl. Sehr netter Empfang durch die Vermieter, die nebenan wohnen. Zum Ferienhaus gehört ein kleiner Garten, man darf aber den sehr weitläufigen Garten der Gastgeber nutzen. Das Haus liegt idyllisch und abgeschieden, dennoch erreicht man in kurzer Zeit (1/2h bis 1h) Orte wie Stirling, Dunkeld, St. Andrews oder Edinburgh. Auch Geschäfte sind nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. 」

「Stay was really good. Property was easy to find and locate. Leigh-Anne gave us detailed instructions of how to locate key for property and some nice welcome touches when we arrived.Place is beautifully decorated and kept and right next to the beach which was ideal for the dog.Would highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a nice quiet relaxing break away.」

Trotzdem aufgrund seiner Lage perfekt für eine Erkundung (Süd)Schottlands geeignet. Und auch ein Ausflug zum Glennfinnan-Viadukt war machbar...」

"I felt the service here was really lacking. I ordered food at the restaurant in the hotel and had to wait over an hour. When the food finally came, some of it was cold and the taste wasn’t great. The free breakfast was also barely better than nothing."
