The house was in a good location with close proximity to family we were visiting. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We only spent late evenings at the house and were gone all day. The owner communicated well and quickly. The house was plenty large to accommodate 11 of us. Bedroom and bathroom linens were clean with plenty of towels. The reason for some of my lower ratings were that we were greeted by a huge spiderweb including the large spider right at the front door and quite a few inside windows had a lot of big spider webs in between the windows & screens that looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Though the house was clean enough inside, the woodwork throughout was all scratched up and definitely needed painting. The rail at the top of stairway was pretty wiggly, so we avoided using it. One bedroom door had a hole/dent in the middle and the plastic eating table by the kitchen had a damaged spot that someone tried to fix. Also even though the refrigerator looked clean. Open food from someone else had been left in the door-don’t know how long it’s been there. The dining room was fine. Plenty of dishes and utensils were available and were all clean. The house would be great with a little love & paint.
