"Although I only stayed for one night and did not get to use the amenities so I can’t comment on that. I can comment on the horrible check in process… I obviously booked in advance and my credit card was charged even before my arrival, however upon my arrival and check in, I was told I needed to not only provide the card that was used but also fill out an entire “fill in pdf” style form on my email, I was also told that if I don’t have the original payment, they would have to refund the original payment and make a whole new transaction…. This was the most barbaric style .. really needs to be rethought for ease of access."

"Unit was spacious, clean and well equipped with toiletries and kitchen items. Parking was flooded on arrival making it difficult to unload and load our vehicle and access the pool from our room. The property is seaside and not on the beach; however, there are sandy areas for sunbathing or sea access, a pool, and onsite excursions. Great for families."

"This is an excellent hotel to stay if you want a peaceful, quiet, low key place to hang while in Key West. While it is further out from the action, we found the shuttle to/from town very convienent. There is a paved trail across the street which was perfect for a morning run or walk down to Smathers Beach. The breakfast contained the usual breakfast buffet items which covered our needs. The pool and exercise room were an added bonus. The staff was friendly and reponsive to our requests. As it is near the airport, you can hear planes going over but that's true of any hotel in the area. Unless you sit in your room all day, you would hardly notice it (no flight noise between 9pm to 7am). The hotel facilities are clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our the four days we stayed and would definately stay there again. Highly recommend!"

"We booked this hotel for one night at the end of our vacation because of its convenient location near the airport for our early morning flight. The property itself is beautiful, with excellent amenities and four lovely pools that made for a relaxing afternoon while we waited for our room. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was quite stressful. We requested early check-in and were told our room wasn’t ready, but that we were welcome to use the pool facilities. We checked again at 3:00 p.m. and were still told the room was not ready. When I returned to the front desk at 4:45 p.m., I was informed they had attempted to contact us, but the phone number they had entered was incorrect—even though they had my correct number on filed. The valet experience was also disappointing and confusing. When we asked to retrieve our luggage from the vehicle, the valet handed us the keys and told us to go find the car ourselves because he wasn’t sure where it was parked. We were then told to find a luggage trolley, but none could be located. On the positive side, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the pools and overall property were enjoyable. The sandy beach area could use some attention and updating. Overall, the hotel has great amenities and potential, but the service and check-in process fell short of expectations."

"The room was clean and the place was quiet, which is good. The air conditioning was really good cause you can put it to a temperature that is right for you. The breakfast was also good. We had a terrible amount of rain fall on our last night and it was scarry but the staff came to our room to assure us that everything was okay and it was. The front desk staff and concierge were very helpful."

"Fairfield Inn was great for my friend and I visiting Key West for the weekend. They offered a shuttle downtown which was so convenient. The pool and tiki bar was really nice, staff was wonderful, and hotel was clean. The breakfast was a good one too! Would come back!"
