「レストランの通りを挟んだ向かいに宿泊用の部屋が有ります。レストランのスタッフに到着した旨を告げると、部屋の鍵を持って、案内して呉れました。エレベーターが無いので、荷物が大きいと、2・3階に上がるのは、大変です。室内はキレイに改装されており、シャワーのお湯も勢い好く出ます。　Bramblesのレストランは夕方迄しか営業して居らず、夕食は近所の別のレストランで食べねばなりません。件数が少ないので、シーズン中は、早めに予約をとっておかないと、夕食時間が遅くなってしまいます。 朝食は、大きな器に山盛りにしたベリー類等、素晴らしいものでした。勿論、卵も好みに応じて焼いて呉れます。 駐車場が無いのですが、目の前の通りが駐車可なので、空いたところを狙って停めれば、それでＯＫでした。」

「The property was very clean but very warm! Aircon would be beneficial especially with not being able to open doors/windows without risking midges joining you for the night!! Bed was very soft and bed sofa not overly comfortable but ideal place to stay for a few nights. Great being so dog friendly,having the restaurant on site (though quite pricey!) and the station being so close giving access to Oban and Stirling. Fabulous views over the loch too!」

「Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. We came back for the views and location, the food and the peace and most of all the warmth and kindness and local knowledge of our host A big thankyou once again」

The spa was immaculate and a real treat after a long day of driving. Rooms were beautifully decorated, staff were friendly, and it is a very dog friendly hotel. 10/10」

「This hotel has no person on site. There is a lock box and you will get an email with instructions. I had to phone when I did not get an email ( probably because of a new email address); House was very quiet. Our room was beautiful and spacious with a lake view. But the bathroom trash was not emptied from previous guests and there was a used sanitary napkin there. Also the blanket in the closet was in a jumble making me think it had been used but not cleaned or folded. It made me uncomfortable...

「Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different.」

「Undoubtedly the most magical place we’ve ever stayed, words and pictures just can’t do The Little Cottage in the Woods justice. Every corner of the cottage and gardens reveal more delightful touches! We were sorry to have to leave so soon and wish we could have stayed longer. Even gypsy, the resident German Shepherd, provided a warm welcome to both the kids and dogs! Lynne and Jeff were the perfect hosts - friendly and helpful without being imposing.
